Pre-Discharge Service

Active Duty Military

 

The Pre Discharge Program is a joint VA and DOD program that lets you file a claim for disability compensation up to 180 days (6 months) prior to separation or retirement from Active Duty or Full-time National Guard or Reserve Duty. 

 

Services included:

 

- Review of Service Treatment/Medical Records

 

- Assistance with obtaining sufficient medical evidence for VA purposes to support your disabilities.

 

- Action Plan, This detailed plan explains how we will reach your benefit goal with the Department of Veterans Affairs along with the list of disabilities you qualify for after an intensive review of medical records.

 

- Document Counseling. 

 

- Assistance with completing all VA claims forms.

 

- Assistance with the development, reviewing, and submission of your claims packet to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

 

- Preparation for Compensation and Pension exams.

 

- Once awarded benefits, a consultation that explains your Rating Decision Letter and the benefits you are now entitled to. 

 

**$2,500 initial consulting fee and up to $2,500 once a client has been awarded benefits.
